Primarily responsible for handling in-bound calls from customers who wish to place new orders, or have inquiries or problems with an existing order.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Field in-bound calls from customers and outside sales representatives.
Accurately place new orders for shipment, check status/track pending orders, effectively respond to and resolve customer complaints and inquires.
Provide general product information and triage technical inquiries to appropriate departments.
Suggest alternate/additional products for purchase based on customer needs and current promotional pricing programs available.
Contact customers with information regarding upcoming promotional events and discount programs.
Act as liaison between customer and credit department to resolve billing disputes.
Maintain customer data files and assist with the preparation of required reports.
