Health Is More Than Skin Deep

As our body’s largest organ—and the one that acts as a protective barrier for our other major organs—it’s no wonder our skin has an entire month dedicated to it. The American Academy of Dermatology has designated November “National Healthy Skin Month,” and we’re giving you healthy skin care tips to consider all month long.

Beautiful Is What Happens When Your Skin Is Healthy
If you don’t already, we recommend having your skin examined regularly for any changes or irregularities that might indicate more serious problems lurking beneath the surface. Forming a relationship with a dermatologist before skin issues arise is also good practice. To help keep your skin as radiant as possible, find a skin care physician you trust and make an appointment every 6 months so that he or she can get to know your skin and its needs.
